POKEBALL BOUNCE
Make a new folder on your desktop called POKEBALL BOUNCE
Download the Pokeball and Forest images and put them in this folder
Open Godot Create a New Project
Project > Quit to Project List
Create a new Node, search for NODE
Rename it Main
Save the file and choose MAIN as the MAIN SCENE
Add a Sprite2D Node
Add an Image to this Node by dragging an image to the TEXTURE window in the INSPECTOR
Rename this as Background
Add a STATIC BODY 2D
Name it WALL
Right Click on this and ADD ad CHILD NODE
Choose POLYGON 2D
Draw something that looks like a skateboard ramp
Now under the same WALL NODE and under POLYGON 2
add a COLLISIONPOLYGON2D and draw around the shape you just created
Now add a RIGIDBODY2D
Now draw something that looks like a circle
Now add a COLLISION SHAPE 2D
To define this shape go to INSPECTOR > SHAPE and choose CIRCLE SHAPE2D
Now carefully use the SELECT ARROW and drag the circle around yoru shape and RESIZE I
Now Add another Rigid Body
Then a SPRITE2D and add the pokeball texture
Now add a COLLISON SHAPE 2D and the round shape again
Now experiment with the PHYSICS MATERIAL in RIGID BODY 2 by adding a new Physics material and changing friction and bounce!
Assignment
submit the AVI video
Run your game and make a VIDEO of your experiment
PROJECT > PROJECT SETTINGS > MOVIE
go to MOVIE WRITER
MOVIE FILE > choose your POKE project folder
