Use Canva to practice  the basics of Type Hierarchy

Definition of the word Hierarchy : an arrangement of items that are represented as being “above”, “below”, or “at the same level as” one another.

Type Hierarchy is how we arrange text on a page.
It allows us to create an order of what is important and what we want our viewers/readers to see and understand.
We use size and placement & font choice as we arrange the text on the page.

We will practice this in CANVA
Create a Design > Presentation

Create 3 sizes of type:

Headline type – a very short sentence or few words, Large size
Sub-Headline– a short sentence, medium size
Body – this is  a paragraph with 5 – 7 sentences, small size

Choose legible (easy to read) type 
Add colorful background colors using the shape tool
Add Effects to the text and/or shapes

Save the file as PNG 
and turn in here
